Weight and measurements, with the goal drawn on the chart

Log your weight in pounds or kilograms and see it plotted against your goal line. Add waist, hips, chest, arm, thigh and neck measurements and body-fat percentage when you have them — because the tape often tells a better story than the scale.

Free forever. No subscription, no account, no ads. Requires iOS 17 or later on iPhone or iPad.

Why track weight log in ClinicalTools

The scale is noisy. Water, salt and the time of day swing it by a couple of pounds, which is why one number tells you little and a trend tells you everything. ClinicalTools plots every entry against a goal line so the direction is obvious even when individual days bounce around.

Alongside weight, each entry can carry body measurements — waist, hips, chest, arm, thigh and neck, in inches or centimetres — and a body-fat percentage from a smart scale or calipers. For people lifting weights, or losing fat while keeping muscle, these move when the scale doesn't.

Set your goal weight once; it appears as a dashed line on the chart and as a "to go" figure on each entry. Export the full history as a PDF, or include weight in the Doctor Share report with your blood pressure and labs.

Three steps, every time.

1

Set a goal

Enter your target in pounds or kilograms. It is drawn as a line on the chart.

2

Log your weight

Type the number from the scale. Add measurements or body-fat percentage on the days you take them.

3

Follow the trend

The chart shows the line against the goal, and each entry lists the measurements recorded that day.

What the Weight Log tool does

🎯

Goal line on the chart

Your target is drawn across the trend so the gap — and the direction — are visible at a glance.

📏

Body measurements

Waist, hips, chest, arm, thigh and neck in inches or centimetres, stored with each weigh-in.

🧈

Body-fat percentage

Record the reading from a smart scale or calipers to separate fat loss from water and muscle.

🔁

Pounds and kilograms

Switch units at any time; history is stored in kilograms and converted exactly.

📄

PDF and Doctor Share

Export your weight history as a PDF or include it in the combined Doctor Share report.

📐

Pairs with BMI and WHtR

Use the same height and waist figures in the BMI and Waist-to-Height Ratio tools for the full picture.

For weight-loss plans, GLP-1 therapy and strength training

Anyone on a structured weight-loss programme — including people on GLP-1 medications who are asked to weigh weekly — benefits from a clean trend against a target. Lifters use the measurements to track a shrinking waist and growing arms while the scale stays flat. The PDF export gives a dietitian or physician exactly what they asked for.
